Boatless again

Sold the Donzi last week

Gone are all the boats :(

I have had Checkmate (13'), Sanger (19') ,
Scarabs (21' and 38'), Black Thunder(43'), Cigarette, (38') Donzie (16') and many other asundry little boats

I have made many friends through the offshore community (and lost just as many)

We may start looking in another year but i think my days of owning big boats (and them owning me) might be done for quite some time

I am not done (i hope) just on hiatus for a while LOL
We still have the zodiac :)

Welcome to the club...it's a sh!tty club to belong to :( After 35 years of boat ownership I can say that last summer completely sucked.

I too am boatless and it is a good feeling "not having it own me". But I am sure when boating season is in full swing, I'll be wishing for a boat.

I am on hiatus too; but plan to start looking and riding center consoles as that is probably the next boat. "Right now" I like the looks and pricing of Concepts, but am open minded.

I sold my 34' Powerquest 2 years ago and thought I could go without a boat for a while. I bought a c6 roadster Vette and newer Harley (Rocker), but I still I still missed owning my own boat. After a year without , and hitchin boat rides, I bought a more afffordable 26' Powerquest . (boat #12). It's not the same watchin from the shore!

I was boatless for 2 years - and back in the game again. Its funny how with out a boat life takes over (weddings, kids birthday parties, graduations, yard work, etc..) and you are so busy... now i am fighting for free weekends where i can start enjoying the boat, water, etc... and not getting sucked in by life
