Wow, I can't believe I'm in Miami and a poker run has less than twenty boats entered. Where is everybody? I know that FPBC has a run also, but I heard the turnout is low there also. Everyone still recovering from Desert Storm? On a positive note, my odds of winning aren't bad.

B. Both events are cannabalizing the market. If each event has 15 boats then it would have been a 30 boat event for a single poker run. C. It's May......lots of the USA has thawed out and warmed up for hometown boating, no need to haul to FL to use the boat. If they keep overwhelming Miami with events it could turn into another Sarasota situation where local law enforcement runs the event out of town. |
