New Spectre 36' Debuts at Desert Storm
It's what you've been waiting to see!!! The New Spectre 36' has a new deck, wrap around windshield, updated dash, Ultra Leather Interior and many other cool additions. Check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkyiyACAWD8 (I am a virgin at posting You Tube stuff and I don't know how to flip it so just turn your monitor.):drink: |
Funny, have you tried to turn a 35" monitor? :D
|
pics would be nice
|
So this is the 2010 we have been waiting for?? It looks like the original "pleasure" model 36 with just a clear windscreen added?? Please tell me i'm wrong and thats was just a bad video!!!
Off their website "We will have a new 328 sc with twin 300xs and re-designed 368 sc that will run 170+ mph. Will have the boats at the Friday street display, so come by and join us. " SO did it run 170 |
Very cool, im sure Jay did an awesome job. Hes a straight shooter, Im sure its a real runner :drink::coolcowboy:
|
Nope - not the original pleasure model.
The video is just a teaser - Your going to have to go to Desert Storm to see it. It will be worth the plane ticket!!:food-smiley-009: |

No it's not a new 2010 36.They have done some updates to a 2005 or 2006 with the new windscreen and interior,. And some
big new power, should be pretty cool looking and a fast one. |

Here are some actual picks of the 'new style' 36 Spectre before leaving for Desert Storm. New wrap around windshield and new dash, same as the one in a 328' Spectre.
The boat does have some fresh power...first test run it hit 166mph with 900 rpm left to go....saving some for Desert Storm. Better photos to come.....in a hurry to get on the road to head West! |
166mph with Bravos.
|
Hope they brought some white towels to sit on! Is that a new bottom and what power?
|
Jay told me that that is a new Ultra Leather that doe's not get hot from the sun.I guess they will find out this weekend.
|
Great looking boat!
I'm really happy Spectre is finally progressing in the right direction and will soon surely gain the respect it once had (late 90's/early 00's). Look forward to seeing it at DS2010:coolcowboy: |
Black seats very hot, I thought they widened the beam on the boat and gave it some more freeboard.

Looks like a Fine Line interior!!?? Boat looks nice!!
|
Sounds awesome!!!!
|
Yes the interior was done by Fine Line, the material is Ultraleather and DOES not retain heat! The boat sat in the sun all day in 80 degree FL weather and it never got hot. This new material changes the way people can order a boat interior. Now you can have dark colors and not get burned when you sit down. The stuff looks great too!
Update on the 'NEW' 41 - the hull mold is still being worked on. Spectre was not happy with the deck that Conrad made, for many cosmetic and logistical reasons. Frisini MS's has invested in a completely new deck for the 41', it will be awesome! The boat is still slated to be layed up, rigged with the new Mercury 1350's and running before the end of the Poker Run season. Spectre/Frisini MS's will be certain to publsih photos as the boat comes together. |
The new 41 is getting ready to be layed up soon.

The new Spectre looked great in Havasu and sounded great during the shoot out.
I heard a lot of talk from people interested in seeing it and happy to see Spectre hopefully coming back stronger than ever! |

no way would anyone run a boat with bravo's at 166mph, don't buy it. that drive would not last a minute with enough power to push that hull that fast, would take 1300's, just crazy dangerous

Is this the boat Rolf of Proroc brought out there ?
I have a VIDEO LINK of that boat running on my website: http://www.sharkey-images.com/speedonthewater.html I would assume those drives are not stock Bravos. Proroc developed their own prop shafts and gears I believe to make the drives hold up. They never broke on the Tsunami Spectre Cat that usually ran in the top 10 crowd on the NY HUDSON RIVER POKER RUN. |

Paint is similar to my friends old 05 32

downgoessunkin - i understand your point on Bravo's, but correct they are not 'just' bravo's....actually IMCO SCX's, with a #6 drive prop shaft. Rolf at Pro Roc has done some modifcations for handling high HP. Should have probalby clarified that....what we menat was a 'bravo style drive'. They can handle the 950 HP that is pushing the boat, which does runs 166mph+.
BTW....the black ultraleather did not get hot in the AZ sun!!! This is just the beginning of Spectre...there are lots of new things to come....the company and new ownership will make it stronger then ever. Stay tuned..... |

All I can do is state the facts, the boat runs 160mph+. Not sure what I can do to make you beleive the facts?
