Blowing out engine drain plugs!

Does anyone besides me blow out the Merc blue plastic wing nut drain plugs? I broke 3 last year, and 1 this year. I only had the boat out twice this year! I'm thinking of filling the hollow tip of the plug with epoxy to strengthen it. Any other ideas?

Mine are all brass or bronze.
Check with West Marine, I remember seeing replacement drains in their catalog and they were brass.

If you're talking about the one's on the exhaust, I've never blown one out, but I did break two of them when draining my exhaust for winterizing this fall. I too replaced all 10 with brass one's from a boat us or west marine store for about $1.00 each. 2 exh, 2 block, and a cool fuel per motor, and those cool fuel one's are a ***** to reach...
