I received a message that the photos we posted were copyrighted and a request was made by the owner for me to remove them.
I have complied with their request.
The thread has been deleted.

My apologies to the owner.
I should've known better. It won't happen again.

Geez Iggy, what were you thinking???? I mean all the money that he lost just cause you put those photos up here!!!!! I am sure that all of us that looked at those made copies and are now going to start selling posters, t-shirts, and coffee mugs:rolleyes:

I probably shouldn't respond but here goes.

The gentleman who owned the photos was very cool about the whole deal and I respect his wishes. He worked very hard, with the cooperation of several photographers, to put that site together .
As with any material that's protected by a copyright we cannot copy or reproduce any of their material without permission.
I was wrong for doing so.

Color Me Gone was one of my favorites too.

Permission to post the photos would have to come from the various photographers who own them, not just the site owner.

But I'll bet his site received lots of hits from us yesterday. :D
