Seems kinda cheap for a skater with twin inboards and I've heard its been for sale for awhile. Anyone know its history or anything about it? Wondering if its something to avoid.

That's a lot of power for XRs. I wouldn't do any holeshots...

How about a better deal - one with SSM6 Drives! I'd call and see if they'll deal if I was in the market for a cat.

Much better deal

Nice looking SKATER & sounds like a good deal and you can probably make an offer ,i would'nt let the bravo's scare you we ran a 33 Elim Daytona with bravos & 1000 hp 200 hours on drives and 138 mph ..good luck and i would'nt touch the #6 boat for over 100K :drink:

There's a 1998 36' Skater on a trailer with Teague 700's and Imco drives. As good as the 32' is, the 36' is a much better, safer boat. PM me if you're interested. You can deal directly with the owner and save a commission.

With all due respect, a 36 will be chewing up anything less than a #6 even with mild power. Step up and buy one with sixes. You could probably baby the bravo's but they will go eventually. The sale of a bravo boat in a cat is tough, thats why there priced the way they are.

Bruce Bullock has a nice yellow one ready to go. Make a deal!

Yup, still got it but don't want to get rid of her. Just bought it last fall with 17hours and just now put 21hours on it. We're gonna keep it for the small lakes, easy to trailer, and easy on gas. Nice to just throw $20 in the tank and hit the water on a whim.

Looking around for what I want right now guys. Requirements are a tunnel hull that'll do 100mph turn key but don't really wanna go over $85K right now. Just when I think I know what boat I want, I find others that do the job too. 25' Eliminators or Talons, 28 Eliminators, Spectres, American Offshore, then saw this Skater. One thing about the Skater in Kansas City is that I'd never wanna upgrade again. Any Skater or MTI has always been my dream boat. Randy's TnT 33' Eliminator is a good deal too. Part of me says to just get a 25' Eliminator or Talon and be happy for now. The other part says screw it go for what you really want.

6's are the ONLY way to go on a skater!
