best portable canopy? Anchorshade?

It depends.. Nice calm day and blazing sun they work great. I don't really like my anchor shade because it's usually windy by me during the summer days and anything over 10-15 mph winds it's worthless.

I agree w/ Panther. Where we boat in NJ, the wind tore mine up after two uses and then to boot when I put it away, it caught and ripped the headliner in my old boat cabin! I was pizzed that day!
I would like to know if there is anything out there as well besides anchorshade.

you'll be fine in Erie with the Anchorshade. Absolutly love mine and use the heck out of it.
