Inexpensive high speed shades for passengers
I've got a nice set of Barz shadesBarz - they are fantastic for high speed driving. My problem is that the shades worn by most passengers just don't cut the mustard at high speed - watering eyes, etc..
I wanted to keep a couple pair of cheap shades on board for passengers - don't want them to have to wear big-ass ski goggles. Suggestions? thx, Mark |
These are the best I have
found, The lenses DO-NOT bend in at Hi-Speed. Been using and supplying them to passangers and customers for over 10 years. www.spexusa.com Some Ladies say they don't like the strap, OH well. Mike J. |
I buy safety glasses from Home Depot or Grainger. Some are stylish. Most are inexpensive.

I've been using the same "glasses" for a couple of years on my boats and they are GREAT :D . The clear lenses are great in the rain and wil NOT fog up. They are also polerized to keep the glare down. Overtons sells them in the PWC section. Robert |
I also use the Home Depot safty Glasses. They do a good job. look good and dont cost much. They are the best I found for the $$$

I've got a handful of safety glasses from work (UVEX) - never tried them 'cause I just thought there'd be a lot of wind turbulence between the glasses and the eyes. |
Add one more for the Home Depot saftey glasses. Cheap, look good & if you lose them you are not out bunch of money. Like $4 per pair. Of course being cheap glasses they do not get lost like the high dollar kinds

Gaffrig has some nice small goggles .
I found almost the same ones without the gaffig name for $5 each at a flea market in Pocono PA .They come in blue ,yellow or smoked lenses .There are venders there all the time that have them .Maybe some one near there could set us up with some more .I could use another bag and I'm too lazy to drive up there right now . |
I have a few different varieties, but I like the BUGZ the best.
