Surveyor Needed at Ft Worth, Texas

We have just finished rejuvenating the 35' Motion AKA Udderly Fantastic/Cat Can Do to pristine condition. We also designed and built a patentable dual tandem gooseneck trailer the boat is setting on.

The complete package has full disclosure insurance, therefore the survey is not an insurance prerequisite. However, the survey will be documentation for unique features of the boat, components, rigging and trailer.

We would appreciate names and/or contact from a surveyor close by or afar.

Can I come see? I'm not a surveyor, I just want to see what you've done.

Dennis Gibbs

I am in your neck of the woods all of next week. I may take you up on that offer to stop by.

Ok....But, you will probably laugh, we're pretty sensitive:party-smiley-004:

Lloyd-
I doubt that anyone would laugh at the resources, time and detail you've put into your project. "Awesome" would be more appropriate, IMHO.
Congrats!
John

Tell me when and where, I'll be there. In fact, I want to be there when Matt is, as we've never met.

I will second Gibbs They were very thorough with my boat when I bought it last year up there. They got there fast and spent ample time. Caught several things I didnt and saved me $$.

http://www.marinesurvey.org/tx.html I just used Casey Auten for a houseboat my family just bought. Nice guy.

Glad to see that boat finished Loyd. Are you taking it to Texoma for Memorial Day? I would like to check it out sometime

CcanDo 05-17-2010 09:11 PM

Thanks Guys, We talked with Dennis Gibbs today. Mr. Gibbs sounded very amicable and would have come this week. However, we have a small issue with the new electric fuel pumps which should be resolved Wed.. The plan is to sea test the set up over the week end and be ready for a surveyor sea trial next week.

We will probably show up at Texoma memorial day...If not, will look forward to seeing you next time !

Do not use Gibbs for a survey, I used him and he was not very thorough and missed some very obvious problems. like a rotten anchor locker floor and many other obvious problems

Griff 06-23-2020 11:26 PM

This was from 10 years ago

fcs1965 06-24-2020 07:23 AM

I realize that but didnt want anyone else to have an experience like mine, just a heads up. I just wish someone gave me the info on him prior to my using him
