Been feeling a little BLUE lately........can you tell why?

Blue seems to be the color of the week. It's a good thing I put serial numbers on every engine. I'm having trouble telling them apart without looking at the numbers.

Young Man Blue. Do you feature closed cooling on your motors or does the customer have to ask for it?

I can do it if they want. I don't really have a calling for it. I have only had one or two people in the past ask for it. I would be happy to do it though.

I think CC is good for any engine to have but especially in salt water.

No, those are 3.3L. The other ones are getting blue (of course) 3.3L as well. They are all efi.

I really considered using the 4.0 on the 2 engines with the polished 3.3L. Those are a pair of my 925 efi's. I decided not to use it for a few reasons. First, the customer really only wanted a little over 900 hp. The last one that I built made 1028 hp, so it doesn't really need a larger blower. Secondly, at 1028 hp, I was just about out of injector. I am running (8) 65 lb high impedence injectors, so they are good for about 1050 hp, at most. In order to take advantage of a larger blower than I would need more injector. They recently came out with 80 lb high impedence injectors. The problem is that I have an excellent calibration for this engine. If I put in the 80 lb inj., then I would have to start over on the cal. I just didn't want to do it on these.
I still considered doing it and eating the cost difference myself. I just decided that these aren't the best candidates for the 4.0L. Maybe the next ones. I have been itching to use one.

Chris's engine can hold it's own. It will look much cooler than it did once it is sporting a blower.
What are you looking for? Complete pullouts? Long blocks? 502 Mag, 500 efi, 500 hp carb?????
Let me know and I will see what I can come up with. I have a pair of 525's with 3.3 Whipples. They would look good in your bilge.
