Who Makes A Hi-perf. Twin Outboard Engine Pontoon
#12
Got a friend with a Premier with twin 300 Suzuki's thats about a year old and for sale. Its a great boat with pretty much every option they had. Big boat and handles ruff stuff well (an i mean really well). I have named it Toonzila and if memory serves i think it runs in the mid 60's but he just put on hydraulic jack plates. Its a nice peice for sure I'll see if i can find out what he wants for it. He is upgrading and wants an inboard one (i like this one better though)

that actually brings up a funny story. My friend custom ordered the one above and when it arrived at the dealership there was a gentleman in the showroom that asked one of the salesmen why on earth did he put two motors on that thing. Salesmans answer was "because they wouldnt let him put three on it" (which was actually true)

I will never understand how they keep the toons on the boat, especially in rough water like LOTO. Seems like a hell of a lot of pressure on the toons at those speeds and in the rough water. They seemed to have figured it out though.

i thought that same thing till my friend got the Premier. Amazingly stable and handles rough water well. This one has made the trip across the west end of lake Erie to the Put-in-Bay islands several times (aprox 40 miles).

I've been on a 26' South Bay tri-toon a few times at LOTO and they do very well in rough water.
