Default 2-piece KE valve covers clearence

Do Keith Eickert Valve Covers have enough clearence to clear the stud girdles that are on top of the roller rockers. The base is 3/4" that bolts onto the head then the cover on top of that. Anyone running them with stud girtles?

They are supposed to clear stud girdles. I agree that they look with close with the Jesel rockers. I don't use girdles so I can't say for sure. If I feel the need for them, I go to the shaft mount rockers. Call CP Performance and talk to Mike. He can tell you for sure. 1800-225-9871 ext 17.

Thanks Scotty for almost letting me blow a grand on something that won't fit, Why do you answer questions when you don't know the answer?

No these covers will not clear stud girdles.

the b&m 3 piece valve cover would clear but you have to grind the mounting flange.

Well after extensive due diligents and the help of CP performance not letting me buy the wrong size valve covers. I bought these tall chrome valve covers made by BIONDO. Guaranteed to fit stud girdles.

Thanks for the input guys and remember we all do not know everything about boats or the parts that go on them. If you know something when someone ask a question. By all means answer them but if you do not know for sure and you answer them wrong it makes you look sorta stupid.

It could end up costing them a lot of money for no reason other than you pecked on your keyboard when you should have been reading waiting on the right answer so you yourself would know next time. That's all I have to say about that....
