I originally joined OSO back in like 2005, didn't spend a lot of time posting then as there was a certain...elitism...I guess is the word, didn't feel welcome. I see the opposite though with this forum, pre-IB I felt much more part of the site because it was full of "regular" boaters as contrasted now with the big bucks bling machines that are out of reach for the common boater. Price escalation has a lot to do with it pushing many out of the sport.

Activity is pretty down and it seems there are 15 or 20 people that participate consistently. This and Corvette Forum is one of the few online things I do. Not interested in moving to Facebook or Instagram. Might be interesting to start a "check in" thread in General Discussion to see all is still lurking around.
