All I can say is on mine, the plugs ALL looked identical.

My problem was intermitent ... so maybe 1 in 5 spins was not burning...

Can't explain...but once again mine did not show up in my plugs.

well they think they found the problem they think 1 drive has 1.50 gears and the other one has 1.65 and considering that its been like that since i bought the boat at the end of last year from a broker and couldnt get much background on it and one of the drives was brand new cpo and doesnt have the nomber on the side they counted the rotation and thats what they came up with there going to go inside it tomorrow to confirm

I cant believe someone didn't suggest this including myself .....I have seen that before and believe there is a thread out there about it ......m

I asked if it could be that after the first run in the boat and everybody including the the guy thats got the boat now and he told me no because it would be way off rpms and it would run different now we got to figure out which gear to go with

You would think the 1.65 side would be banging off the rev limiter at WFO???

At least you figured it out. You could just put a bigger prop on the 1.65 side.

been following along cuz I had a fuel filter issue that caused a similar problem but that's funny right there!!!

I think the two together kinda blended into a "average" Ratio ....

whats you guys opinion on gears i got 24 four blades with the 1.65 im turning 4900 rpms little over 3/4 throttle 1.50 im turning 4400 full throttle
