spark plug? r43t vs r43ts

I went to the store to get plugs asked for r43t and noticed when I got home that I received r43ts.

What is the difference? Will they work in a standard 330?

The guy at the counter also said mr43t is no longer made?

They still make the MR43T.

The "S" is extended tip. (Not sure this will work)

The r43ts is a extended tip plug. The extended tip is suppose to burn cleaner and give a tiny more power on the dyno over the r43t. They came stock in the merc mag motors.

It is the car version which is fine. If you want the stainless base plug then the number is mr43ts.

I will give them a try:coolcowboy:

The MR43T is for sure still made. The R43TS is the same plug with a slightly extended tip. They will just as well, if not better. Just make sure to change tehm every couple of years as they are not stainless and will rust a little. There is no MR43TS. The MR43T was stock in the older mag carb engines.
