Tom I just talk to a buddy in Orange Beach he said there is spots of oil in the inner coastal there,he said ya cant see thru it.A few tar balls on the beach side,They have dawn on the beach in front of his condo for ya to wash off when you get out of the water.Beach was closed Wed.

Are you going? We have a condo that I need to make a decison quickly on....that is a long tow too not use the boat. I also don't won't to burn a weeks vacation not boating...:coolcowboy:

I dought it....the owner of the condo is a great guy, he rides with us on the run, i just don't want to screw him. Guess i need to get off the fence and make a decision..

If we can't go boat we will pick up oil balls on the beach.

Last weekend there wasn't any oil in the inner-coastal, and I don't think they have seen anything on the beach in Destin...yet. Navarre beach has seen a few tar balls but nothing major. As you go farther west it gets worse... I'll be out at crab island on Saturday and Sunday this weekend and will let you guys if there is anything nasty... I did here that they have shut off the destin pass but I haven't been down there this week to confirm it or not. My fingers are crossed that they can keep the oil out of the inner-coastal, if they can't it's gonna be a long hot summer.

This is the latest report I got from Homeland security. Don't know if it will make it to Destin by then or not.
