Try a pair of 25* pitch Rev4's from Mercury.
BBlades sent us some for our 32 Glasstream and it became a rrocket and very stable with a slight nose up attitude.

What kind of speed were you getting? What motors were you running?

chuckbeecher 06-26-2010 01:44 PM

The 32 had 275 Verados and we were in the 72-75 range depending on water and load.
Step bottoms love the REV4's
these were far better than any other 4blades we used.

Is any one running jack plates or you just bolted straight on the transom? Top hole?

this was an 04 scx

My Partner and I had Glasstreams for sale. He got stuck with a 2008 SCX with 225 opti's we could not sale. The advertised speed with 24P bravos is 65MPH, it runs 64-66 GPS. You have to overtrim boat to get 66 and yes it does run flat, but handles well. I ordered a 2008 32SCX for myself with every option availible including cabin a/c and hard top. 300 Verado's for power with 26P bravo's labbed by BBlades. Best speed 71 on GPS Brett advised me to stick with the 4 blade bravo's. I run 87-89 octane, on hot days most of the time runs 68 max gps. The 32 and 36 seem to handle and run better than the 27. I am satisfied with the performace of the 32. The 32 is based off the owner of Glasstream's old race boat. " Turn of the Century" Thats what he told us anyway.

What position are you on the transom are you running jack plates?

Boater8987 06-28-2010 05:10 AM

No jack plates. 2nd hole down from the top on the opti's and the verado's.

i guess that was his dreamometer, I did notice this weekend they were 24p 4 blades,

btw, it seemed to run flat to bow down, but that was probably due to the seas

I was looking at one for sale in VB, but now I don't know. Not going to ride like my old Cafe', huh?

Did the one you rode in just have the power heads replaced?
