I used to live on Cass Lake in MI. I went to West Bloomfield H.S and lived on Island View Dr. At the far end by the sunken strip bar, (or so I was told). Same lake?

Same Lake I know where Island View is. I went to Seaholm High in B'ham 1977. Have lived on lakes since, can't seem to leave. Tell me where was this sunken strip bar ? Can you give us some history? This sounds interesting!!!!!!;) ;) :)

I graduated from WBHS in 1994. The strip bar is right off of Island View at the beginning of the cove or inlet. When driving into the cove it is on the right side. There used to be a little jet ski race course over it, not sure if it is still there. The water is very shallow and it surrounds a little island (Island View's name came from that) but the bottom is wood, looks almost like a dance floor. We used to race our jet ski's around it. I had alot of fun on that lake, several friends lived on it and we used to party on the island all the time. My parents owned a house on Island View and it came with a lot at the end of the street with a dock and small beach. Too much marshland though.
