Propshaft height question

When measuring "propshaft height", do you use the center of the propshaft?

Mike
when measuring prop shaft height we measure from the center of the "point" on the lower unit

The center of the prop shaft is "higher" than the "point" of the lower unit, correct?

Which is right for setting up a Spectre? Measure from where????

Thanks.

i always measure with the motors trimmed a little bit positive to the center of the prop shaft near the props. depending on where the motors are trimmed at it changes inbetween the point and the prop end.

Whether you measure from the point of the bullet or the center of the propshaft, It is just a reference point to help you dial in the boat. Boat performance and your seat of the pants is what dictates the drive height. Make sure you keep a close eye on water pressure when testing drive heights.
