Personally, with the "BE SAFE" factor in mind, I wish they would postpone their record attempt until enough testing has been done...
With all of the issues they have been having with this new design, I would hope they sit it out.
I don't understand why they seem to be in such a hurry...
If they do make the attempt, I wish only the best...
Good luck !

A group of us saw them testing this past Sunday in the lake. It was moving pretty good on the water. At the dock the boat is HUGE to say the least. Very impressive. Good Luck guys

hope they run it
I'll be down there early fri to watch it. Really not worth getting up at 530am to watch the kilo runs if this boat isn't going to be there. Too bad some of the 1/4 mile drag boats can't maintain there speed for a standing kilo, they get to 280mph in 5ish seconds....of course they can't handle anything but glass smooth water. Hope they have all the bugs worked out.

They had a problem with a turbine engine on Thursday. They also struck the seawall at low speed. It was not a good day for the Phenomenon guys.
