Gotta love the Box Anchor.
This thing held three boats against mild conditions, and 49 feet of boats(between 2 boats) against fairly windy conditions and moderate turbuelence from passing boats. UD PS: sorry about the unstitched photo-! |
UD, we love Naci! Matter of fact, dragging the Cig up there the weekend of July 10th. Great lake that has a lot to offer (party, chill, wakeboard/ski, camp, lake front homes, etc).
You probably wont get many on OSO that know the lake but thanks for sharing the pics.... |

You have a beautiful family and look like you really know how to show a group a good time. Ive been going to Naci for about 15 years now about once every other year. I love it. Funny thing is after all that time I never knew about Las Tablas I just "discovered" it this trip. I sort of chalk it up the Lake is revealing itself to me much more with a slightly larger boat, than my small but extremely fun tunnel hull. I just kind of learned "my little parts of it" and kept going back to what I knew worked. Please send us pictures. Uncle Dave |

The lake isn't that big compared to many but it still has areas that will suprise you! I'd never been to Las Tablas until about 5 years ago. Great little "hidden" cove. I heard a rumor if you take the narrows back far enough you can actually see the Hurst Castle! It is really a great lake with an easy (scenic) drive up the coast and pretty cost effective. I'll snap some pics for sure but here's some oldies but goodies from there!:drink: |

My 28 feels like an escalade on that Lake.
Your Cig on that lake must be like a super high performance limo! UD |

On Day 2 Sue "declared" she was violating a camping rule........
by wearing the same bikini bottom twice, but she then insisted that it was okay, "because she looked "cute" in it." We were all in violent agreement...... Day 2 was a great day. UD |
