Ft. lauderdale boat storage ??

i am looking for somewhere to store my boat when i get it next month and am asking for recommendations.

24' with trailer

I live on 17th and us1 so i would like something in that area.
it would be in storage for a month not being used, then the next month used regularly, and then back to storage for the next month.
i dont mind a stack and store, i just dont want to raped by the price.
any suggestions? and how much should i expect in that area.

Break Out Another Thousand. . .i know, lol

thanks!

You may like Sundance Marine, I dont know much about them except its rack storage right off 17th and cordova.

Also Thunderboat Marine Center, I hear really good things, and Ritchie Powers is over there. just meeting him is worth the trip over, hes as good as they come!

Also known as American Offshore. I just bought a boat that had been stored there; seemed like a nice place, helpful staff.

Nykamp 07-04-2010 09:09 AM

Marine Management is storage, inland.

cowisl 07-04-2010 09:23 AM

Yes, phone is OK where he is from but his business is based in south FL and spends most of his time there. He has hauled my 50 the last 2 years and served me well. I can recommend him. Also many of the others mentioned are good as well.

Yes and is also his Cell phone.

He operates out of the Ft Lauderdale/Pompano area of Florida.

cowisl 07-18-2010 09:21 PM

Kyle is the man.

If you are looking for on the water storage for a v bottom, the port is the best around.

sixmassive 07-18-2010 11:44 PM

the port is 600/month and doesnt store trailers

harbor town is cheaper than thunderboat like 360 vs 380

True, but you get what you pay for. The port is climate controlled, cat 5 rated, 8 minute idle to the inlet and there isn't any forklift wear and tear. Good luck with your search

sixmassive 07-19-2010 06:46 AM

how do they get them in the rack w/o a fork lift?

cowisl 07-19-2010 08:20 AM

Computer controlled lifting system.
