Default Barnegat Bay Accident ?

including helicoptors by the house on the island last nite 7/3 at midnight ? had to be 12 police boats and a helicoptor . just wondering if it was a boating accident anybody know

CG Helo was over my house across from Sedge on the bay at 5:00 AM Sun ,we thought they were looking for something ????

wouldnt surprise me. Lots of drunk idiots out boating on the bay yesterday.

I heard they were looking for several kids that ran the boat aground and took off. ????

As far as I heard yesterday, the driver of the boat ran aground either before or after having a heart attack and had to be taken to the hospital. First they were going to airlift the patient but because CPR may have been needed (they don't do CPR in the helicopter) they went via boat.
I did here of another accident involving a Cigarette cutting between a tow boat and grounded sport-fisher and getting caught up in the rope. No one was hurt, apparently the Cigarette ran OVER the rope creating a big mess and almost sunk the tow boat. That could have been a real disaster had they gone under the rope.

Sounds like he was running a bit close to other boats! That tow rope couldn't have been that long separating the two boats!
