Nice Job Guys !!!!!!!!!

SHARKEY-IMAGES 07-10-2010 04:36 PM

That's great news !!!

No blueprints, no plan, just dig in and go at it right from your head to your hands in an empty lot.

That is so great to have it all work out for them...

Best of luck !

They are good guys..one lives in my backyard..hard worker all his life and needs a break right now..this is going to unfortunetly be a mess for years to come. Everywhere.... Business are closing left and right..most sea-food resturants are done, tourism is shot...and all this after we just got our nutz kicked in from katrina..Be positive, pray a lot, and make the best of it.:drink:

Have you heard anything about Costner's centrifuges?

How to protect yourself from toxic air

(NaturalNews) The same dispersant BP is using now was used by Exxon for the Valdez spill a couple of decades ago, and thousands were severely affected. Today, there is no one alive that was directly involved with that clean-up. Average age of death was 51. Exxon managed to avoid paying any health bills for the afflicted.

That same relatively ineffective highly toxic dispersant has been banned in England, and BP refused to stop using it despite the EPA's demands. BP won't even release the chemical ingredients that could assist medical treatment. It's proprietary you see, and corporations rule!

Why More Will Be Affected

Many more Alaskans inland wound up with chronic diseases later from breathing the resultant toxic fumes that exist in the Gulf area today. But that was an actual spill with a finite amount, which was limited to the Prince William Sound in Alaska. The Gulf BP incident is not a finite spill; it's a severe underwater gusher, out of control and getting worse.

This non-stop gusher is affecting the immediate Gulf coast and will be affecting the Caribbean and the Atlantic coast to New York then across the Atlantic to the UK and possibly beyond. That's the path of the Gulf Stream current. This will expose millions of people to breathing toxic irritants from the so called dispersant chemicals combined with the oil, which evaporate and contaminate the air we breathe.

Those contaminants are hydrogen sulfide, benzene, and methylene chloride. They're all very toxic. It's necessary now to take responsibility for protecting yourself. The BP and government coalition will do nothing for you.

First Line of Defense

There are two protective measures available: activated charcoal powder lined masks and indoor air filters. The mask has been recommended for adsorbing the occasional dangerous aerotoxic bleed air fumes in airplanes.

Adsorbing is an electro-chemical bonding that surpasses absorbing. Activated charcoal powder has amazing adsorption capacity for toxic fumes. They resemble thicker flu masks, and they're not expensive. So stock up.

But one needs to take off the mask at home. This is where indoor air purifier/filters come in. There are different types, and you need to diligently shop for what would be best for you. There is even a second hand refurbished air purifier site!

There are air purifiers that use a HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter developed to contain radio active particulates during the Manhattan project of WWII. Good for particulates down to .3 microns in size, but maybe not so good for the gaseous toxins.

Then there are electrostatic filter purifiers or ionizers that attract the toxic molecules electrically, bonding them together and making them too heavy to remain in the air. If that type of purifier doesn't have an electrical collection plate, those heavy toxic particulates wind up in your floors and walls.

A low level ozone (O3) generator or ionizer combined with a charcoal filter may be the best solution for toxic indoor air. The adsorption quality of activated charcoal with ionic bonding or neutralizing extra oxygen atom seems capable of capturing most toxins. It's advisable for your choice of air purifier to handle a high volume of air flow.

Low level ozone generation means it's within the safe ozone to air limit of 50 ppb or .5 ppm. The exaggerated hazards of ozone are based on a confusion of what comes first, pollutants or ozone. High atmospheric ozone readings occur when pollutants are struck by UV rays, resulting in the by product of ozone.
