Default Boat crash at Lake Mead



Hallett crashed into canyon wall in the narrow's at Lake Mead on July 11th. Pulling the boat out at Callville Bay. Park Rangers shut down boat ramp to Helivac out 5 to 6 people out. Heard one of them lost a limb.

That SUCKS. The narrows canyon wall must have JUMPED out at them.

How did the boat end up staying on the rocks (should of slid off)...im suprised it didnt hit it head on.

yup,Lake Mead is about 100ft down from full and forcast to never be full again due to increased demand from the area.
