What did you use to edit this so you can post that particular portion of the video?
I notice your "Go Pro" does not have that annoying tick in the video mine does. |

Just ordered one of these, I can't wait till it gets here. How easy are they to aim? With no display I was thinking it may be tough to get the exact angle you want.

I used Windows Live Movie Maker for Windows 7. Windows movie maker for xp does not except mpeg4 vids. There are editing programs that come with most apple comps that should work as well.

Get the HD version http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php...2&productid=30 Also, it does not come with any internal memory and will only run off of an sd card. An extra battery would be handy to have as well....... The vid quality is great in 1080p when running it through an hdmi to a 52" tv. Never asked Go Pro, they put in their on line info that it is the play back from the camera but if I save the file to the hard drive it still does it. |
Nice vid, what river is that?

I have an HD version as well. I leave it in the r3 setting which shoots wide angle, 720p but at 60 frames per second which looks a lot smoother and can be edited for slow motion.
Go to the support page of the GoProCamera Website and they will have a link to a free program called MPEG Streamclip. That will allow you to convert the mp4's to .mov files. If you max out the quality, get ready for a 15 fold increase in file size! I edit my vids in my Mac using Final Cut Pro and because the Audio is kinda poo, I put it in ProTools and beef it up. The ticking you might hear is the camera shifting a bit inside the casing. All it takes is a little bump and that will translate into a pretty loud sound. Mine squeaks a bit. Here is a couple of edited vids I did from my jet-ski. Select 720p for best quality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgMUtDOtJWY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crath83QZzQ |
