Special Floating Reporter Bulletin!

I realized I can't post pics under LS JR. so for now I'm posting them under LS but will work on fixing that issue.

It was a fairly nice day and the tide was high so we said why not go for a boat ride. Although we quickly realized it was very dark to the South heading towards Shooters. Everytime we use Great Adventure we get less motivated to sell! Although, I guess for the right price...

We did see the "Superman" 38 Top Gun tied up at Houston's which I haven't seen in awhile. Here are some pics from the day.

A good day on the water in South Florida. Windy but not too hot.

Good looking boat! My wife and I were out for a while this morning on our new 38 ZR, started to run outside but turned back fairly quickly as she started turning green! She is new to boating, I didn't think her first time on the ocean went as well as I wanted it to, haha. They're only saying 2-4 today, but they seemed to be all of 4-6'- a little much for the wife! We ended up cruising down the inside to Port Everglades, turned back around as we saw the weather you saw. Not a lot of boats on the water today, but it was nice like you said, not too hot. Take care, maybe we will see you on the water someday.

We were going to Houston's today, but the weather turned bad.

Sorry we missed you.

Neat thread.

Nice

I ran last Sunday from Jupiter Inlet to Southport Raw Bar....dead flat, nice ride for a $200 (fuel) free lunch!

I picked my buddy up just inside the Hillsboro Inlet and there were a ton of boats out. Never got wet either!

Glad to hear the Floating Reporter is still on the job! :D

Thanks

I haven't used it in a while, after the ride yesterday you maybe right.

If I get another boat I will have to lay out ALOT more $ & with the economy the way it is I'd probably be better off with $35k in a speed boat than $150k tied up+ the insurance is alot less.

They both basically do the same thing.

Still a great looking boat!

Are there any good threads with any history and pictures of the boat from the racing days?

Maybe some older ones, I think the last time it raced was Key West '04. I was Crew on a different P-5 boat at the time, and us and the former owner of this one were neck and neck a bunch:evilb:
