525EFI upgrading with Whipple, is it worth the $$

It is absolutely worth every penny. Just be sure that you do the other things that are needed. If you have a 2004 or earlier 525, then it will not have Cometic head gaskets or ARP head bolts. These items should be changed.
You will also need to upgrade the boats fuel system. That includes the pickup, fuel lines, fuel filter mount, etc. Let me know if I can help in any way. I am a Whipple dealer and have done a ton of them.

If you search here you will find a lot of satisfied customers. I would definitely consider his products as well as Eddie Young's

awesome package... just treat it with some respect as far as drives and you will be fine.. the 525s are dogs on heavy boats the whipples really makes them come alive when you want it. and when your just cruising around, your at zero boost.

131 in a Magic of any size or setup is hard to beleive...
A buddy of mine had almost 1100hp in his and it was a pig, 106 at best...

We just did a 525 efi whipple upgrade and the power is awesome, just take your time and do it right, will post a dyno pull for you so you can see.
