APBA - Cape Cod 6/7 - 9
 

Does anyone have any information about this race :confused: :confused: . Exactly where it will be, host hotels, etc.

It's only a month away, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to make my plans........:cool: :cool:

While you're at it..... What happened to the Connecticut race that we rescheduled Skaterfest for, as a courtesy.?

Why do I have this gut feeling that the race will be canceled. I Would think that they would have the info posted by now if it was going to happen.

Last I heard the Cape Cod race was having issues with the USCG....haven'e heard anything since....:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

actually guy's cape cod is on. atlantic city is on.

conn, new london is on for next year about the same time. announcment was made in st cloud and i thought i put it in the board. if not i truly apologize.

the race was posponed till next year for the truth of political bull****. but we do have the permits a signed contract and a check in hand already for next year. so it is definitly on for then. if you think i should start another thread and let everbody know again tell me.

News was A/C was cancelled and moved out west. That was according to APBA and NJPPC. As far as Conn. you may want to put up another post to explain. It would be my guess that everyone thought as I did, that since we had heard nothing new on it that it just wasn't happening. Unfortunately this is all to common in Offshore. Anyway, best of luck with your Conn. race next year, keep us posted as I want to attend.

APBA provided Race Packets for the Cape Cod race at the Daytona driver's meeting, and said it would be available online soon. Forgot to pick one up, though, so I can give you any details.

I picked up one of the driver's packet in daytona..Yarmouth Mass is the town, Smugglers' Beach seems to be the main area for ramps and cranes, Skippy's Pier 1 Restaurant is the meeting place (drivers mtg & Awards)Hotels you have to go thru a travel agent called great escapes...Dry Pits is the Yarmouth Drive in....Race course is 5 miles long next to what looks like a pier.....hope that helps. I've been talking with APBA and from what I've been told the race is going out of Hyannis at the ferry terminal and the race will be off Craigville Beach. They were having some minor issues But,I believe they worked them out.Good Luck, mfb

The race is on and in full swing. And we will be showing off a few new boats and paint jobs there! So come and see.

When is the APBA going to post the official info for the Cape Cod races???
I have friends coming into town with boats and kids and food etc to watch the races!
I suppose we could just have a big beach party on Monomoy Island instead!!!
