Default Anyone use Jet Dock?

I am moving to a new house and permits for a boatlift are a nightmare. I always see the Jet Dock display at the boatshow and they seem cool. I like the fact you can keep the boat out of the water and walk around it. Anyone use one? Are they worth the $$?

I was looking at them. I think I may go with a regular lift. They are HUGE money but from what I have heard they work very well.

Also check out www.jetfloat.com They make a very similiar product but it comes in a light color. I think it is a little less money also. From what I hear that black can burn your feet. I imagine down in FLA it would be a real killer.

I have had one for years, (6 or 7) They work great but they can scratch your boat if dirty. I like the fact that they can be re configured as much as you like and you never loose your investment. I have been buying "jetfloat" from canada. less money but less options. I mixed mine with my black "jet dock".

Ray:
So the Jet Float and jet dock boxes are interchangable? How hard is it to get the boat off the thing?

are you thinking of the jetdock float lift? I dotn think the jetfloat raises and lowers.
also check out
http://www.boatfloatllc.com/
no a full walkaroudn but decent size platoforms on the side

or full walkaround
http://www.noprofileboatlifts.com/
but a lift and will need permits.

Yes jet doc and jet float go together. The boat is a 13' whaler not real heavy my two girls (15 and 13) have no problem launching it. They just lift up and give it a shove. They hold on to a line the pull it back to the side of the dock. For bigger boats jet dock rigs up a winch that pulls back on the boat eye and for very large boats (performance) they use a air chamber under them to lower them in the water then you use your out drive.

I just took these shots this weekend, good timing. I may be upping to a 16' whaler too. I also want to try my eliminator on it. I think i will need 2 more rows of cubes though.
