Where to stay for the Shooout?
 

What is the place to be for the Shootout? I'm going for the first time and we don't know where to stay. Any suggestions?

Eddie-skaterfest is at www.toadcove.com. at mile marker 7 on the lake.The shootout is at milemarker 31 at captain rons.

A lot of people stay at a condo complex called "The Ledges". Google it and get a bunch of VRBO listings. The complex is near some of the popular on water establishments, but about 15 miles by water from the actual shootout.

I will be running the 399 Skater Vee with my 1200's.
