Top speed of some boats

I was wondering, what the top speed of some boats was, when i first got into faster boats, and started to learn and read and see more boats, I saw some boats, and curious what their top speed was/is.

the 46 skater My Way?
Jet Set?
Extreme Exhibit?
the ITS i beleive it was, turbine boat, forgive me if i am wrong on this one?

basically just curious how fast these boats actually were, thanks

what should the new Jet Set boat do?

Jet Set is one badass mofo. 180+mph!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIV9jJ7vjII

Mike Fusco's first turbine boat, a 46' Skater. The yellow box between the exhausts is an outboard motor with a jet drive he uses around the docks so he doesn't create too much heat from the dry exhaust and also to save his jet fuel. Turbines burn as much at idle speeds as they do at full throttle.

His new boat is a 50' Outerlimits turbine cat... i think?

You are a bit off... His current boat is a 40' Skater.. His next boat is a 46' Skater..

Jet Set is close to 200mph. I have been in the boat at 180 and he has seen in the 190's. It is a 40' skater and he is building a 46' Skater that has been a couple years in the works and will be the fastest pleasure boat ever built based on the hardware and calculations. The current boat has the outboard motor for docking as stated and also because the way the turbines and crash boxes are set up maneuvering around the lagoons where he keeps it would be next to impossible.

Timeless61 08-05-2010 09:27 AM

thanks, yea, i knew about the outboard for docking. also, figured it was up there along with My Way based on numbers and rpms and ratios they told me when talking with them for awhile at the 1000 islands poker run.

also i read somewhere that Extreme Exhibit was way up there, my way said they had never seen him run extremely fast, but he was next to them doing 165.

the 32 is impressive with those speeds.
