The picture of the new Sage drives was taken about one mile away from where I live....in Hudsonville, MI. They were the first Sage drives to be bolted and tested on a boat....and that boat being a 40' or 48' Ocean Express Cat. I know the guy (Dave Wessledyke) who own's the shop that installed them last summer. I was privilaged enought to be able to watch them being installed. It was about a 2-3 day process as they had to do A LOT of measuring/cutting/fitting...the guy that designed the drives was there as it was taking place. The boat was the "JAWS" racing boat. They removed the Arneson drives and installed the Sage's. Dave said that they are a faster drive in the turns where it gives more stability. They're still doing more testing with it as it should be a faster drive down the stretch because you can actually change your "X" demensions with the touch of a button. The trim various trim angles are what make this drive unique over the other conventional drives.
