Mystic is the only one where ALMOST all of the boats coming out of their door are running 200mph any day of the week. I understand alot of MTI's and Skater's can push the 170-180 mark on a regular basis, but I would bet there are more Mystics breaking 200 than all other manufacturers combined.

Probably a fact but lets not forget they are 50' & cannopied b/c I'm thinking 170 in a 38' open cockpit boat spells disaster.

Did JBS also have a glass problem at the last race in Florida or was that just a bad rumor?

Wow... So that's from the 2nd boat?
I haven't kept up on the boards but was anything ever said about it? I had heard it from someone who was at the race but never bothered to confirm. |

last years boat had "cosmetic" issues so many times you could not count them. from front to back and even the trim rams were going through the bottom of the boat. stringers were added and we were told that "it's only cosmetic"...
this year..."it's only "cosmetic"!!! "we may have been able to be fixed the night before the race—but both Jeff and I judged it wasn’t prudent to take the chance." john made the call and said he was unable to fix it there. jeff and i are not into getting killed because of "cosmetic" damage. skater has been an AMAZING help! |
the above pix is the "cometic" area that was fixed every day in key west and the next year!
when the boat blew in miami jeff and i were in constant communication with shore and the powers that be...."it's only cosmetic" we know how that ended. |

Sounds like you guys will be opening that can of WOOP AZZ real soon ,good luck :drink::drink: |
funny how it's jeff's fault when he races with the cosmetic damage...and it's still his fault when he doesn't race because of the cosmetic damage...
