So was it the prop wash from the spinning white boat or did they launch of the rear corner of the white boat? White boat damage would indicate a launch.

Looks to me that the rooster tail of boat in the lead was caught in the tunnel which caused the lift off. Boat wake will not do that to a race boat.

That's gotta be what happened.

If you cut into the roost of another boat too close in a cat, it can definitely stand you up! Tres has some WILD videos in his class of these types of situations

Check at 1:15 of this they lauche off the Relekta Boat to much spray for us to see the boat in some angles but the video shows it very well from different angles.

Now that I look at the whole thing maybe in an other instance the rooster caused another jump at 1:29 of the video...

Very spectacular.
