Default AMF Offshore Racing's Website

I just visited AMF Offshore Racing's website and found something interesting. Under the "About AMF Offshore Racing" section I found this:"Presently AMF is looking to place additional turbine powered boats in the offshore races. These new boats will have full sponsorship coverage available and with the success of Geico, these sponsorship opportunities will not last long." I wonder why they have no takers on this great opportunity?

I first heard of this "offer" in St. Clair....wondering if it involves dedicated organization (OPA) racing or open to all..would be an important item to consider....regardless awesome incentive for other teams to give Geico some competition and get some additional exposure...hope someone takes them up on this offer from JH....
