I have 2 open seats in "Lick This" for the Scope Poker Run that I will be auctioning off to the Highest Bidder. PM me if you want to be included. Includes the full day affair.

Sounds great, would you be doing this for the KW run?

Brad Zastrow 08-17-2010 12:46 PM

When ever I see an offer to sell a boat ride in an ultra performance boat I can not help but think of the liability and the lack of insurance coverage. I really doubt a pleasure boat insurance policy would cover a commercial ride. I have had offers up to $1000 for a ride in my boat and always declined.

I love that Skater by the way. I am only making a suggestion about the risks.

I appreciate the feedback, Thank you. There will be waivers required. This is an at your own risk ride. If you are not willing to accept the risk involved please do not bid.

Dont think a waiver will hold up if your accepting money for a ride,I believe you need a captain's charter boat license. By the way I love that boat.

Isnt there a guy in New York area with a MTI that sells seats on Poker Runs?

Thanks, the boat is a blast. Thanks guys for the feedback, but I would rather not turn this into a legal debate.

Pretty much everyone I know has accepted money for boat rides. Don't your friends chip in for gas and beer etc??????????? He just needs to re word the ad a little and creat a back story before he leaves the dock.

n20michael 08-17-2010 03:36 PM

I really dont see how this is ANY different than the "charity" rides that are auctioned off at Poler Runs, its the same thing, you "bid" on a ride in a fast boat, same as here, the money goes to charity, thats all. I dont see it being an issue

Lets get this thread back on track!

Whats the opening bid, and do I need to bring my own cooler?

Catmando 08-17-2010 06:53 PM

I've had this beautiful boat as my wallpaper before, and just put it back on there. Thanks for the pic, looks great! :Score-101010:

Current bid is at 850. I'll supply whatever drink and cooler you would like. You wont have much time to drink though.

Coolerman 08-17-2010 07:59 PM

that pic is badass.

Very sweet ride and a great opportunity for someone to have a great event at a fraction of the cost of dragging their boat clear over there.

:drink::drink: My Skater prints money everytime I take it out!! :drink: lol Great Idea by the way. Might as well have some people on board that want to ride plus pitch in every once in a while. We all have the liability when people are on board if they pitch in or not anyway. Hopfully four or five supper models pitch in 10000.00 or so and have a blast!!!:drink: Good luck to Lick This!!

Thanks Guys. Lick This is one of my fav Skaters, all most bought it once. Lol. Great deal at 850, it will cost more than that in fuel to get to the lunch stop. Awsome boat, good luck with the auction.

You could set up an auction for a ride on your boat with some eye candy working the lines that might actually get high enough to cover the gas costs......:drink:

Where's the lick this ride auction at $ wise? A pretty cool deal to get a once in a lifetime ride in a seriously bad ass piece of hardware.

Still at the 850 a seat. I could kick out the friend for a couple of Ladies (Rentals)
