We have had just about every cell phone company and around the lake, Cingular seems to be the best. Sprint is putting up more towers around that area so the service is improving and AT&T sucked when we had it.

mpally- so you have cingular? i have verizon and i've almost thrown it overboard several times. it always has signal when you don't need it. when you need it, it never does. not to mention, that i do not get digital reception down there. i'm on analog, which eats my battery like a mofo. do you get digital reception down there with your cingular? give me the 411 on it....

Well it seems our crew will not be attending. We had some people back out, we no longer had a tow vehicle to bring the boat down so everyone cancelled. If anyone has room in a boat and a condo I may drive or fly down. This sucks, I was really looking forward to experiencing LOTO! :(

hey jbk i use cinglar they go most everwere on the lake and it is digital i have not had a problem for the last year and half a few years ago the swbell ( cingular ) digital did not work very well but i guess they have added towers are something no problems now.

JBK, Yep what Later said. We do have one Cingular phone at it gets the best reception. We can even use it in the slip in the dock. Sprint is getting better, but Cingular is the best right now.

My buddy that I'm partner's with in our Fountain has a place across from Tan-Tar-a at the 26mm!! Actually it's his father's place, it's almost on the point and he has a 38ft Cigarette Top Gun in the dock. How close are you to him? I know that we will be stopping by a couple of times to pick my buddy and his wife up, maybe we'll see ya!

Your talking about Stingray cove right? Is your Fountain red? My cousin's whom I stay with alot are in the condos on the point. (can't remember the damn name now) One has the 29' Invision on the mouth of the cove side and the other just sold his 33' Viper that was on the other side on the end
