Its amazing how each of our photo guys has their own style and perspective. Shaun is a relative newcomer to the group and brings a whole nother view of the world as we see it. Had the pleasure of meeting him last year at some of the races. Keep up the great work!

UE ABANDONED. http://shaun.zenfolio.com/f353867633 wow! . . . . . . man thats some amazing "low light" work. Thanks for the heads up Alec. Shaun what the story with Pilgrim state? Is that a hospital of some kind? I have a fascination with old abandoned buildings, especially ones that still have furnishings, machinery and things. Its easy to let your mind fabricate a story based on what you see. |
Wow. Amazing pics. Thank you Shaun for what you do so well and Alec for bringing that to our attention. :) Very cool.

The abandoned series, and the skyline shots are very cool.
I can see losing a few hours looking through the galleries. |
Outstanding work!! Shaun is a true artist behind his lens.

Alec youre a class act thankyou, all you guy Rock ! Thanks !
Just want to contribute to a great site with the other excellent photogs already here. Just need to get to some races now :drink: Best Shaun |
I think it's evident that the technical quality of the photos posted here by all the photographers has certainly improved over the years. Everyone has invested money in new equipment, and time in learning how to manipulate the digital images we take. There are some awesome photos being posted here regularly.
But when it comes to looking at a scene and framing the best shot at the best angle to produce a peice of art, I'm always amazed and envious of Shauns talents !!! :drink: imax |
ShaunK is tops in my book.....not only a great photographer but a great guy.....A true artist.......

Dave- IIRC it's an abandoned mental hospital. Huge place- like a college campus w dorms for nurses, doctors etc. The buildings are connected with a series of underground tunnels.
