I got the impression he wasn't interested in selling me one. It was the weirdest thing. I would bring it up and he would change the subject. The first time I thought it was my imagination, the second time I took it as either he wasn't interested in selling a 30 or he wasn't interested in selling to an MTI guy.
I'm very impulsive and honestly, he probably could have sold me one.
I would have had buyer remorse now that I'm back home and it's really not the time to buy another boat.

It is beautiful!! Good luck with it!!!!
Did he keep switching the subject to a 388?

It came up a few times. for sure.
I was impressed with the 30. I figured it would be a nice boat that I can have smal power in, leave it on the lift and use it on weekends without any help.

Being I am extremely impulsive If he would have thrown out a good deal I probably would have taken it.
Now that I'm back home, not in boat mode, I'm off it for now.
I should probably stick to MTI or we wouldn't have a whole lot to talk about!

Mine has naturally aspirated pump gas motors and runs 160. It stays on a lift behind my house all year.......only comes out once a year every Spring for regular maintenance. Skater/Sterling/Arneson makes for a great, reliable package. I regularly run this boat to the SF Bay/Pacific Ocean and back which is a 200 mile round trip from my house.
