Pics-Headed to LOTO
4 Attachment(s)
Here are a few shots of us heading to the Shootout. Stopped to water the grass at the on ramp. It was looking a little dry:drink:
We have a 399 Skater (Young Performance Marine 1200 efi's) with matching F650, 37' Outerlimits (1200 Quadrotors tuned by YPM) and a 388 Hustler Slingshot (YPM 925 efi's) with F650 with 10 1/2' bed. It was pretty cool running down the road with the 3 of us. I can't wait to get boating on LOTO. The last pic is after we spent an hour and a half in an Illinois weigh station. They chased us down and made all 3 of us pull through the scales. They harassed us for well over an hour and then let us go. They were convinced that we were hauling for someone and were commercial vehicles. It took that long to convince them we were going on vacation. One of them still didn't believe us but didn't have any thing else to go on. He couldn't prove anything, since there is nothing to prove. They even called Tn DOT to have them run the plates to verify that we were not over weight. What a complete waist of time. That put us through St Louis at 5 pm.....right in the middle of rush hour traffic. We should have made it through at about 3:30 and missed all of it. Oh well, we are finally here and looking to have a good time. Eddie |

Lookin' good! Keep the pics coming for us poor souls that can't be there.
And yes, caravaning is good fun:drink: |
I see you met "The Boys In Blue"! They are really looking to write tickets, right now, in Illinois. The state is broke and they are on the lookout for big tickets. Not running commercial when you are suppose to is a big fine. You weren't so you were O.K. Let me guess, the weigh station on I-57 just after I-24 ends? I've been stopped there before, too.

looks cool guys

What's up everyone, I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hey. Hopefully I posted this in the right section!

Have fun. It's fun to run on the highway with other rigs. I'm sick that I didn't go. Post some more when you get a chance. Eric

We all just have regular tags, nothing special. But, they don't have a max weight on them. If you are heading through Il. watch yourself. We will be taking and posting pics all weekend for those that can't make it. Thanks everyone. Eddie |
Whenever i see something like that going down the highway i end up in the grass. Looks good guys.

Sorry you met the Illinazis. As stated earlier the state is broke and the crooked f#cks running it couldn't bare the thought of not robbing us blind or actually operating within their budget.
|
Glad to see you criminals made out there safe & sound.. All three rigs look awesome !!.. I'm with the peanut man, I would probably be all the way up in some median or all over a few cars seeing that going down the hwy.
Bring those bad boys back in one piece & I can't wait to hear how it goes.. :drink: |
Alway cool to see the big boys heading down the highway. I'll be anxious to see them all on highway 44 Sunday when I head back home.

We went to Skaterfest today and had a great time. There was a ton of awesome hardware. However, we ended up winning "Best in Show" with the 399 Skater vee. That was a nice surprise to add to an already great day. Here are a few pics. They aren't great quality. My camara was set to take pics in an email size. They are small and of mediocre quality. I will see if I can do better tomorrow.

Congrats man !! Be modest all you want but You frigging deserve it bro.. know doubt you bust your azz for it !!!
Best of "luck" tomorrow.. Btw: Great shots & wish I was there !!! |
Good job on Best in Show. That's some tough competition.

Dang
Too bad about getting pulled over like that.
It is an example how this Country has it's priorities upside down. Yoy guys are to be applauded in your effort and investment in Free Enterprise. You have worked harder to get where you are and taken more chanches to succeed than can be ever contemplated ... by some Government Sponge Employee busting true hard working Americans only to try to justify their pitiful existance. I'm surprised they even noticed you. It's not easy keeping tract of the years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds till they retire, then really double dip sponge the system dry. But that's just me...ET |
Congratulations on the best in show. Had to be some tough competition and to win shows the effort and vision that was put into it.
Now, can we see some pics? |
pg #20 OL "Enough 4 Play" is that still F/S or is that the new owner?
|
399 ran 118 (117 2nd run)
388 ran 100 37 OL 116 |
I believe John's 37 ol (enough 4 play) went 117 on his 1st pass..
Congrats guys so far 1st & 2nd in your class.. |
