Butte Lake in NM??

I've been there!!!!!!! When I was in the Army and stationed at Ft. Bliss,TX a bunch of us went up there for a weekend. The year was 1983, and I was 19yrs old. Seems like a lifetime ago now.
I recall that lake as being one of the more beautiful places on Earth. One of these days I'm going to head back there.

I'm running a '93 21 foot Larson Senza. I haven't had it that
long. It currently has a 5.0L with an alpha drive. I'm gathering
parts to build a new motor for it, but I just changed careers so
I'm boating on a budget right now. I'm basically a newbie
to performance boating.

"Boating on a budget"?? Aren't those contradictary terms? LOL! :D

Welcome to OSO! I've never heard of the lake you do your boating on, but I'm sure it's very beautiful in that part of the country.

Mica, who's your friend with the Thunder, maybe we know them as well, There is a Thunder run in Key West, all paid for by Pat, hope to see ya there. Good luck to ya guys.:D

His name is Travis Steinfeldt. It's a 24 with a Chief blower motor. I think around 650hp. He bought it from a guy from Boston who was upgrading to a larger Thunder, not sure of the guys name though. He generally only boats around southern Minnesota. Can't seem to get away from his business.
