Maryland ,solomns races

The host hotel is the Holiday Inn. They have no slips available. Spring Cove is right next door. Both of those are fairly close to the dry pits, but a little hike to get into the main part of town. There are several forms of transportation to get into town and it is not that much of a walk if you have to. Harbor Island is at the bottom of the town by the Tiki Bar, but I'm not sure if they have transient slips and they are not part of the race or poker run. Solomon's Yachting Center will leave you about the same distance from both town and the pits, about 1/2 mile from each. They are associated with the race and the autograph signing will be there Sat evening. Vera's is the end stop for the Poker Run but it is about 7 miles by water and 15 miles by land from Solomons.

Solomons is only a little over a mile long, so everything will be pretty close. They should have a trolley, electric cars, taxis, and I think a shuttle running for the Vera's people, so getting around should be pretty good, until you spend too much time at the Tiki Bar and have to crawl...
