Nayyyyyyyyyy.
Look, I put on a few pounds but that is no reason to call me a horse.
I don't know that it would fit into the extension box. It would be a great idea if it would, even though it would add greatly to the cost.
There is also the new tranny that Teague is selling. I believe it is the same case as the 72C.
Most are just fine with the 1550 Bam. That is the only one I use, no matter what the power is. If you stay at about 1200 hp or less, then they are damn near bullet proof. If you get much over that, then you are playing with fire. I don't think the drive is rated to handle that much anyway, although it probably would.

Rick.....What about RESELL. JIMKID
I think anyone who buys a shaft drive boat will most likely come from a performance boating background or at least have some knowledge of how surface drives work.
Frankly, I don't see why shaft drives have such a bad rap. Hell they even work on Fountains.

Gotta say resale is far better than what your setup has looming for it. A drive that you spent upwards of 80K on and is from what I hear from a company that is no longer in business.
Certainly not a recipe for value.
With Arnesons on the other hand, we have been in business for over 30 years and have sales increasing at an increasing rate year after year. We are established and well known for being fast, safe and reliable not to mention we are here for the long haul so we will be around to service our products for years to come.
Put two 32' cats on the market, one with Bravo's and one with Arnesons. Which do you honestly think will sell for the most $ and the quickest. There's your answer for resale.
