RIP he was from my area. I was on Cayuga Lake the next one over and hear about it later in the afternoon.

Very sad! Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.
I never met Don but, being a former Kryptonite owner myself, I talked with him on here many times about his boat.
Godspeed.

Rest in Peace............

There is a lesson here....and it's not the first time it has been taught.

Even if you're the best driver the world has ever seen....Life jackets and kill switches.....always.

What a shame. Both times that I took my boat up to Seneca Lake, Don went out of his way to provide me with local knowledge and/or killer rates for storage. A truly nice guy - I have no doubts that he will be missed. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
