Yeah Kerr is commonly referred to as Buggs Island Lake as well. Can't wait. Missed camping altogether last year. I'm gonna meet Cignificant, mlitefan, 22Scarab and others as well. I'm gonna bring the accoustic for a little boatin'-man-blues around the campfire after choking down some BBQ-dejour and left over ice cold boat-soda's...The boat gets several days of lovely freah water....:D

Well, between the weekend before Memorial Day, and the actual 3-day, I think I have about 10 different options.

Weekend before Memorial Day, I would have loved to go to Agressor 25's (Ty & Caroline) wedding, or go to the Andrew Air Force Base Open House/Air Show, (have Pilot buddy with full behind the scenes access). However, I had already invested in the SML PR before any of this came up, and I have family going with.

Memorial Day, again a million things, but my sister is getting married on Saturday, and so that takes up the whole weekend. However, whichever day is better, Sunday, or Monday, I am going to have the family and friends head down to Old Town Alexandria, and I am going to meet them there with the boat for some fun and sun on the boardwalk and at the Fish Market.

First off, Friday night I'll be sitting @ the "Gunship Saloon" and I am going to RIP the top off a couple of Icehouse longnecks and enjoy those Adult beverages, Sat. have friends coming down from Jacksonville and we'll probobly have to run down to Sebastion Inlet, to Capt. Hirams; Sunday boat down the ICW, then back to the "Gunship Saloon" for a barbeque!! Monday, probobly recovering from weekend!!

When we get down to Buggs, I need to take you guys over to my buddies place just across the main channel across from North Bend. He has a great little house on the lake that will make you swear you have just gone down to the Keys!!! Awsome deck...

They play live music on the weekends and Memorial Day is a big weekend for his crew. Bring the guitar and he might let you sit in with the band!!!

The new motor should be in the boat by then...right now, target date is that week before Mem day...Not much time to get used to it...
