1995 merc 225 carb. on the star. side down below the cowling there is a water pres. relief type of popit. Water keeps coming out of the bleed holes. I had it apart and the diaphragms was shot I replaced it and its doing the same thing. Now I don't know much about egg beaters but something aint right any ideas?

Doesnt sound right, I used to have the same motor, and never had any problems, have a 250EFI now, and it is basically the same setup with no issues. Maybe post this ? over on scream and fly, they should be able to figure it out.
