1989 33' fountain executioner twin 540s and speedmasters

i was wondering what these boats are like if they handle rough water well, any problems with the hull. how fast it will run with 2 540s and speedmasters. it has hydraulic steering. looking at buying this boat.

depends on what you are comparing it to..I personally think fountains ride rough as hell in rough water. but thats just my opinion..thay are a fast boat. and fairly well made..the 33-35's like a high x demension..700hp + wll run around 100

My 32 with the drives in a bit runs right through 3 footers you just loose about 3MPH, when I am up on the pad maxed out the same 3 footers can get a bit loose, but I am new to this boat this season.

you said 89 right? I cant imagine a non stepped fountain running 100 it would take a lot more power than that. THe boat might run 80? Those were pretty heavy boats and with that bottom should be good in 2 to 4 footers. Not knocking the boat at all it has great lines but pretty sure it wont see 100mph

I owned a red 33 with 540s and Number 3's. It ran about 90 mph. Nice boat.
