Default 600sc's with XR drive???

I seen a guy with a 42 fountain running down the lake a few weeks ago. It was shooting a pretty good tail out the back. I ran into him later and asked what he had and he said twin 600sc's with extension boxes and XR drives. Seemed to be putting a large tail for that kind of power. My buddy had a triple 525sc motor and there was no rooster at all.....any ideas???

-2 Lowers?...There are only 4 - 42 boats I know of with 600's. Ive seen 2 of them. There was an Ex up here with black/purple graphics, had shorties and ran 92mph.

First Sunsation F-4 had staggered 600's/ITS/XR's with cut down skegs. Props turning in. It threw a rooster at cruise but it would lay down as you increased speed.

It has to do with drive heights... not stagger (as much)

That is between 65 and 75 mph, it lays down as you break 80/85mph.

I occasionally see a red one running between the dam and 7MM at LOTO. Love the running attitude of these boats!
