buried at sea

My wishes are well defined as far as being buried at sea. However when I saw this I had to scratch my head....

And what if you were coming out the port and hit the guy??

"The burial would have been successful if Lasky's body hadn't floated back to the surface."

Kind of makes you wonder what the method of attachment was and to what???? An anchor lol???

Dave M 09-14-2010 06:54 PM

I saw a burial at sea back when I was in the Navy. I would think that you would have to be more than 4 miles offshore?

Perlmudder 09-14-2010 07:31 PM

sometimes you are just left speechless... like what?!

lilabner 09-14-2010 09:14 PM

I told my wife to cremate me, put my ashes in a douche bag, and run me through one more time..

love this quote

"She did consult with a company up there where she lived and it was subcontracted with the company down here," she said. "The burial would have been successful if Lasky's body hadn't floated back to the surface."

Is this a popular event (lots of sea burials going on)?

I saw all the coast guard boats and sherrifs boats as well as helicopters, that responded to that incident, they must have spent a fortune in tax payers gas, I am wondering if the captian or owners of the Mary B, are in any trouble. Im pretty sure I would run the other way if a group of tourists told me they wanted to charter my boat for some fishing, and to dump a body, no matter what kind of paperwork they had.

That's what they get for using the cheap cable ties. They should have used genuine Ty-raps.
